All classes include traditional asanas (postures) and stretches to build strength and flexibility, to balance the endocrine system (hormone-producing glands). All classes include Pranayama (breathwork), and Relaxation / Meditation. The discipline of yoga teaches us mindfulness, through listening for the subtle energetic shifts, we learn to listen to our bodies deeply, identify and dis-ease in our energy field and take early corrective action. As we feel the rhythms of ourselves, our breath, our heartbeat, we deepen our awareness of our emotions, our thought patterns, our intuition, our inner wisdom, our connection to the environment, our connection to others, our connection to All that there Is.

About Susan Susan has committed to the practice of yoga in everyday living since the early 1990s. She trained with Gita International School of Yoga and has been teaching yoga since 1999. Susan has been a Senior Coordinator in the Gita Teacher Training programme and has taught Beginners to Advanced, General and Prenatal yoga, she has also supported individuals after major surgery and major injury with Therapeutic and Gentle yoga and she is qualified and experienced in teaching Mums & Bubs and Children’s Yoga. Susan is a Reiki III practitioner, and holds a Diploma of Psycho-Spiritual Healing and a Diploma of Holistic Counselling. Commitment to her spiritual development spans over 20 years. As a mother of three young girls, a wife and a senior manager in business, Susan knows first hand what it is to balance a busy life and stressful times and what it is to find peace in the balance. Susan continues to work to understand the Universal Balance, the Universal Laws (or Spiritual Laws) such as Law of Karma, Law of Polarity, Law of Vibration and Attraction, Law of Abundance.
About Universal Balance In all classes, focus of the mind is drawn into the body, through the asanas and stretches, through the awareness of the breath and the shift in energy, then awareness of Self increases on many levels. We build strength and flexibility, and we balance the hormones in the Physical, which builds strength and awareness in the Emotional, which builds clarity and deeper awareness in the Mental and deepens connection to Spirit, deepens consciousness of our inner Wisdom and connection to Universal Consciousness.
