our story

After losing my dad and step mum tragically in a car accident in 2015 and really needing some support and comfort from real people, that weren't my family as they I felt they had been through enough as well, I realised that people just aren't there for each other anymore, people are too busy to stop and chat to you about real situations happening in life or genuinely ask how you are in fear of the conversation getting to deep or taking to long. I realised that people had become too busy to stop and get to know themselves and I found people from all walks of life, to be caught up in the tornado of life, not really enjoying anything or anyone. It was then I realised I needed to create a space where people could come and really connect with others. A place where you can feel like you belong, stop and have a chat, get greeted by name, sit and have a cuppa after class and make some real solid connections with people who care. A safe space where you could connect with yourself again and get to realise your "purpose" whilst connecting with people within the community, like our ancestors used to do. Through opening the doors with this intention I feel we have attracted likeminded people who are so welcoming and supportive of each other and who embrace every new person who enters the studio.

So with all this in mind and after years of aimlessly walking on a treadmill, taking part in air boxing classes and pumping weights gaining nothing but a bigger ego, I decided that it was time to create something different, something that made a difference to peoples lives, a place where you can come gain functional movement, learn to protect yourself, stay fit and most importantly chat and make real friends in the community.

Our classes are inviting, free from judgment and ego and a warm space where you will feel nurtured, comfortable and connected.  Each of our instructors have been hand picked and are masters of their field with years of experience and each and everyone of them is living their passion which shows in each class you experience.   -Chad.
