“Its refreshing to stumble across a hidden gem like this :) Somewhere I feel completely comfortable, not judged, encouraged, with a sense of community support from all the staff and clientele. I joined a couple weeks ago and Universal Balance is the first studio/gym that I have joined that didn’t cut my budget short before I had even started attending! So far I have been to as many yoga classes as I can possibly fit into my schedule as I work full time. It is the first time I have actually looked forward to going again and again, as I used to dread the thought of going to gym. “I joined UB around 11 months ago As I was getting Older I noticed my balance and strength were declining. I was very conscious that as we get older we lose our balance, I wanted to give Yoga a try. Up until I turned 50 I was very active, for some reason I just stopped. I thought I could manage some Yoga I now attend Circuit, Yoga, Restorative Yoga Where do I start on the difference UB has made to my life! I am smiling as I write this : ). I have become more self loving of myself and have become much kinder to my Physical and Emotional wellbeing. I have rediscovered my love for exercise, I had forgotten how it clears the brain of all my stress and worry. My balance has improved so much, my fitness has improved, I sleep much better, I’ve lost a bit of weight and I feel much stronger. It’s easier to get through the day now. I now get ME time again and I love it. Id forgotten that I need Me time. I love that UB is a family run business. Everyone is so encouraging every lesson, not in an imposing way but in a "you can do it way". The instructors are great, they are so positive. “I started at Universal Balance a bit over 1 year ago. I started going because I wanted to make a commitment to training on a routine basis and I wanted to try some yoga. The location is convenient and easily accessible for me. I routinely attend the 6am circuit classes and Saturday morning 10am yoga class. If time permits I will sometimes attend the evening circuit classes and Thursday 9:30 yoga class. Since attending I have been able to commit more regularly to working out and taking time for self care. I feel fitter, stronger and balanced. I have lost weight and I have made friends.
